Deck / Porch Repair & Resurfacing
DECK RESURFACE by ACORN CONTRACTING SERVICES
In addition to designing and building brand new decks, we also provide refacing and repairing. Refacing (or resurfacing) involves having us remove the floorboards, treads, and railings. We replace these components with new pressure-treated wood or long-lasting, maintenance-free composite material. Since the structural components remain intact, there isn’t a need for a new permit.

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) provides Wheelchair Ramp Specifications, Requirements and ADA guidelines that most business are required to meet. Most residential applications do not need to meet ADA guidelines, requirements and specifications, but they are a good reference point for recommended ramp lengths. Contact your local building inspector for additional information on ADA ramp requirements.
